There will be closures to U.S. Highway 101 in Buellton, Caltrans announced in a news release Thursday.
The closures is due to a project to “resurface U.S. Highway 101 from the northern city limits of Buellton to just past the State Route 101/154 separation is continuing during the overnight hours,” according to the news release.
There will be lane closures north and southbound, Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. The ramp at Damassa Road and State Route 101/154 will be closed Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Caltrans expects the delays to not exceed 15 minutes, while electronic message signs will be posted to ensure drivers are aware of the closures. California Highway Patrol will also be present. The cost of the project is expected to be $4.2 million and completed in late September. The project’s contractor is Granite Construction Co. Inc. of Santa Barbara, according to the news release.
