SANTA BARBARA — Residents living in and around the Santa Barbara area can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and other chronic, serious conditions with affordable screenings by Life Line Screening.
Center of the Heart, 487 N. Turnpike Road, will host this community event Oct. 3.
Screenings can check for:

— HDL and LDL cholesterol levels.
