Our beloved “Na Na” Lita Yvonne Anderson-Chelini passed away on February 20th, 2013. She was born On March 9, 1937.
At a young age she lived in a railroad car as her mother taught school at Pyramid Lake, Nevada.
She graduated in 1955 from Pershing County High School in Lovelock, Nevada. From there she came to Santa Barbara to become a nurse at Knapp College of Nursing. Half way through she fell in love with the cutest guy named Eddie. She then left nursing to get married. They have been married for 55 years.
Her greatest joy was being a “Na Na” to her 3 grandsons. She was actively involved in their lives. Such fun they had.
She enjoyed her faith in God at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and made many dear friends. She truly enjoyed teaching Sunday school and playing in the hand-bell choir.
She was a bookkeeper all her working life – at Santa Barbara Aviation for 30 years and The Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce for 10 years.
We will always be thankful for her loving spirit, the length of life she was granted and the blessing she was to us all. She will be greatly missed.
Lita is pre-deceased by her son David (19), her brother, Clifford Anderson, and her sister, Andrea Maxwell. She is survived by her husband, Ed Sr., son, Edward Jr., daughter-in-law, Janice, and three grandsons, Anthony, Garrett and Kristopher of San Jose, and brother and sister-in-law, James (Sam) and Jeannie Anderson of Lovelock, NV.
