The award-winning animal adoption television series “AnimalZone” will broadcast a national special on Cox Cable channel 4 at 8 a.m. Sept. 21.
The one-hour special will be hosted by Arthur von Wiesenberger, co-publisher of the News-Press. It will include a number of animal-loving guests, such as New York Times best selling author Tamar Geller, who wrote “The Loved Dog” and is Oprah Winfrey’s personal canine coach.
Monty Roberts, known as the horse whisperer, will share how a horse can come to know its owner, while tennis legend Jimmy Connors will explain his bond with his adopted dogs, according to a news release.
The show will also include Larissa Wohl, from Hallmark Channel’s Home and Family, Mitch Telson, the former president of Petco, and Sally Jordan of Jordan Winery, among others.
