GOLETA A violent crime is under investigation by detectives of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Team, according to a news release.
A male victim was attacked early Sunday along Magnolia Avenue north of Hollister Avenue in Old Town Goleta, sheriff’s spokeswoman Kelly Hoover said in a news release.
He was left with life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, Ms. Hoover said.
No other information was released.
