SANTA BARBARA Melissa Attanasio, founder and CEO of Abundant Wealth Strategies, has been awarded the Women’s Choice Award for her work with women in the Santa Barbara and surrounding areas.
Ms. Attanasio attained the elite status that represents less than one percent of financial advisors in the country. Since she began her career 27 years ago, Ms. Attanasio has become a certified financial planner, certified divorce finance analyst and a master analyst in financial forensics, according to a news release.
She became a CDFA professional in 2005 and founded Divorce Strategies Group. She continues to strengthen her skills and is sought out in the family law community for her expertise.
The Women’s Choice Award was founded by Delia Passi, the former publisher of Working Mother Magazine. The intent of the award is to provide women with a collective source of financial advisors that deserve recognition for their quality of work, as well as their loyalty to working with women and empowering them.
