Ever dreamed of living in a beachfront property along the Santa Barbara coastline?
Now you can — at least for a night.
Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara has just unveiled its newest accommodation, the Ty Warner Villa. And, if you have 12 grand to spare, you can be living the suite life.
“The Ty Warner Villa is truly the most exclusive and private accommodation,” said Karen Earp, general manager of the resort, in a statement. “Mr. Warner commissioned an incredible group of experts in their craft to create a villa that would exceed the expectations of even the most discerning traveler.”
It all begins the moment you pull up the private driveway to the sweeping outdoor terrace complete with panoramic views of Butterfly Beach and the Channel Islands; a 12-by-15-foot heated plunge pool with whirlpool jets; custom teak furnishings; and fireplace surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping. The 4,000 square feet of outdoor and indoor space include an open-concept living and dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows, custom wood wainscot and coffered wall paneling, white-washed wide-plank oak floors, a Moonshadow quartzite marble slab bar with dual wine storage and beverage centers, and touches from local artists and craftsmen.
The grand master bedroom, which sleeps two, also has sweeping views of the coastline. It features a king bed, fireplace with hand-painted tile, a Sonos surround sound system and an estate-sized walk-in wardrobe. Just steps away is a Zen-like bathroom retreat, the centerpiece of which is a deep soaking tub carved from a single piece of French limestone designed especially for the Villa. There’s also a couple’s rain shower. The space opens to a 150-square-foot outdoor jungle rain terrace.
Among the amenities are butler service, pedicab transportation around the 22-acre property, access to the members-only Coral Casino Beach and Cabana Club, private poolside cabana and select tee times at the recently renovated Montecito Club’s new 18-hole, par-71, 6,540-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.
The Ty Warner Villa, which takes its name from The Biltmore’s owner, starts at $12,500 per night and accommodates four adults, or two adults and two children. The Biltmore is located at 1260 Channel Drive. For more information or to book, call 969-2261 or go to www.fourseasons.com/santabarbara.
