LOMPOC Rep. Salud Carbajal will host his annual veterans breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at the Lompoc Veterans Memorial Building, 100 E. Locust Ave., Mr. Carbajal’s office announced Tuesday.
The Lompoc Veterans’ Breakfast is an opportunity for Mr. Carbajal to hear from fellow veterans, share important Central Coast resources and discuss how Congress is working to keep the nation’s promise to those who have served in the armed forces, according to the press release.
The breakfast comes at the same time as Carbajal’s re-introduction of HR 4191, the Home for the Brave Act. This bill would help ensure veterans and their families have access to quality, affordable housing, according to the press release.
