Randall Stewart Castello, beloved husband, passed away on May 31, 2013 after a short illness. Randy was 52. Randy was born in Santa Barbara on December 23, 1960 to Lawrence and Betty Castello. He grew up with his sister Sandie Foehl-Castello and brother Mark Castello in Santa Barbara, California.
Randy graduated from Dos Pueblos High School in 1979 and graduated from Santa Barbara City College in 1981, where he studied music and Earth Science. In the 80’s Randy modeled for LaBelle modeling agency and played guitar in several local bands named, “The Cavaliers”, “The Coolers” and “Raising Cain”.
On September 2nd 1999, he married Lisa Moreen Kliegl in Santa Barbara. They moved to San Luis Obispo, California. Randy and Lisa have no children, but have two cats named Lake and Bello that Randy adored. He would take the cats on walks with him. Randy loved surfing and trips to Lake Nacimiento to fish, ski and work. He played in many softball leagues and also coached. He loved barbecuing with his wife Lisa and friends and was a true Dodger fan. Through his life he continued his love for music and playing his guitar in his spare time.
Randy worked for Cal Fire-EMT/Fireflghter and Spencers Fresh Markets as a produce clerk. Randy will be remembered for his love for life, his good looks, beautiful smile, gorgeous hair, his incredible personality and musical talent. He was a great friend to all with a heart of compassion and a loving soul. Randy was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Castello. Randy is survived by his wife, Lisa Castello, Mother, Betty Castello, Sister, Sandie Foehl, and Brother, Mark Castello. Brother in law, David Foehl. In-laws, Donald and Sandy Kliegl, Linda & Ted Greene, Robert Kliegl and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Randy will be held at Goleta Beach, Picnic area B on Friday June 21, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. Bring a Beach chair if you like.
