Dennis Dunlap Chester, born September 25th, 1947 in Santa Maria California will return to his roots on Friday, July 12, 2013. Dennis was in Ipswich, Australia when he passed away a little over a year ago on April 26th, 2012.
In their accordance with Dennis’ final wishes, his ashes will be laid to rest next to his mother and father, Charles and Imogene Chester, in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Ballard, California.
Dennis is survived by his daughters, Lara Nicholson and Georgina Chester, his first wife; Darrellyn Woods-Black, his second wife and mother of his daughters; Lorraine Chester, his soulmate and partner, Gaile Robertson, his brothers, Curtis and James Chester. His first grandchild, Winona April Nicholson, was born 3 months ago in March, 2013.
A memorial service will be held in remembrance of Dennis at Loper Funeral Chapel, Ballard Country Church on Friday, July 12 at 11am. All those who wish to pay tribute to Dennis are welcome to attend. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Loper Funeral Chapel, Directors.
