The Santa Barbara High girls golf season came to an end at the CIF Northern Championships, with the Dons finishing eighth out of 20 teams at the par-72 Elkins Ranch GC in Fillmore.
Santa Barbara was paced by Channel League MVP Melia Haller, who finished ninth overall with a 6-over 78.
The Dons’ Lizzie Goss and Aoife Braverman both posted 88s. The team shot 453 overall.
The top four teams from the Northern section move on to the CIF Championships.
Santa Barbara head coach Ryan Throop pointed to the departure of seniors Allie Womack, Maddie Malsten, Lulu Dunaway and Taylor Trider as making the day a bit bittersweet.
“I am so proud of their season,” Throop said.
