While her season ended with the round, Santa Ynez’s Morgan Blunt made sure to leave a lasting mark at the CIF-SS Northern Regional at Soule Park in Ojai.
The Santa Ynez girls golfer fired a personal-best 89 at the event — also the lowest round for the school over the past decade.
“Proud of all her accomplishments this season,” Santa Ynez coach Sara Ovadia said.
Santa Barbara junior Melia Haller posted a 9-over 80, while teammate Lizzie Goss picked up an 84.
San Marcos senior Alex Manion rounded out players from the Channel League, firing a 93.
Bishop Diego senior Marisa Mancinelli tied Blunt with an 89.
Meg Yoshida of Palos Verdes won the regional with a 1-under 70, while teammate Frances Kim, Walnut’s Tiffany Le and Chino Hills’ Emma Tang all fired an even-par 71.
