CARPINTERIA Several ramp closures are planned next week as work continues on the Linden and Casitas Pass Highway 101 widening project in Carpinteria.
From 9 p.m. March 29 to 5 a.m March 30 and during overnight hours March 30 through April 3, the northbound 101 on and offramps and the southbound off ramp at Casitas Pass Road will be closed as crews install traffic loops in the ramps. The southbound offramp will remain closed daily through 7 a.m., according to Caltrans.
From 9 a.m. March 30 to 3 p.m. April 3, the northbound onramp at Linden Avenue will be closed as crews construct the new roundabout. The southbound offramp at Linden Avenue remains closed. Motorists are advised to use the offramps at Carpinteria and Reynolds avenues as detours.
Crews are continuing drainage, median and electrical improvements, as well as the installation of reinforced pavement to the freeway and outside shoulders.
Ogan Road is closed between Linden Avenue and Pacific Village Drive to allow crews to build the new roundabout and roadway improvements. A local street detour is available on State Route 192.
