CARPINTERIA Several closures are planned next week as work continues on the Linden and Casitas Pass Highway 101 widening project.
During overnight hours April 5 through April 9, southbound 101 will be closed between Linden and Bailard avenues. Motorists are advised to use the detour on Carpinteria Avenue to reenter the highway. From 9 a.m. April 6 to 3 p.m. April 10, the northbound onramp at Linden Avenue will be closed, according to Caltrans officials.
The southbound onramp at Casitas Pass Road will also be closed from 9 a.m. April 8 to 3 p.m. April 10. The southbound offramp at Linden Avenue remains closed, though other closures are subject to change due to the weather.
Due to the chance of rain this weekend, construction for the Highway 101: Carpinteria project will begin as early as the night of April 12.For more information, visit www.sbroads.com.
