Crosswalk at Calle Real and Kinston Avenue Temporarily Closed
GOLETA To ensure public safety, the City of Goleta’s Public Works Department has temporarily closed the pedestrian crosswalk at Calle Real and Kingston Avenue. The flashing yellow lights activated by push buttons are not working properly.
Replacement equipment has been ordered and will be installed as soon as it is received. The City will notify the public once the crosswalk is ready to be re-opened. “Crosswalk Closed” signs have been placed at the crosswalk.
The City has asked that detours directing users to the crosswalks at either the Calle Real/Kellogg Avenue intersection or the Calle Real/Pedestrian crossing (at the shopping center near Kyle’s Kitchen) be followed as needed.
