Our dear madre, hermana, tía, abuelita , and bisabuela Alicia Rey Delgado departed this earth, by the grace of God, spiritually focused upon the Lord Yeshua/Jesucristo as the only merciful and loving Savior, on April 4th, 2013 A.D., at Serenity House (Visiting Nurses Association Hospice). Born May 14, 1931 in Santa Rosalía de Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, she passed gently, lovingly, and peacefully accompanied by family. She was blessed to have been also accompanied, visited, prayed for, and personally comforted by many loved ones and supportive friends.
Alicia was sadly preceded in death by her firstborn son, Miguel Campos Rey (Mireya) but survived by twins Roberto Campos Rey (Alicia) and Carlos Campos Rey (Margie); as well as David R. Barraza (Trish), Gloria Armida Barraza, and Ricardo Barraza (Blanca) and siblings Matilde Olivas Rey de Monarrez (Rafael) and Raul Rey Delgado (Lola, QEPD). Also surviving Alicia are more than 30 grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nephews, and many other relatives.
Following cremation, memorial services to be held tomorrow, Wednesday, April 17th at 10am at Holy Cross Church on the Mesa at Cliff Drive. Internment of urn to follow at Calvary Cemetery, on Hope Avenue, at 11am.
