GOLETA The Goleta Police Department will hold a DUI and drivers license checkpoint from 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
According to a city news release the checkpoint will be set up at a location based on frequency of DUI arrests and collision statistics.
Those under the influence of prescription drugs and marijuana as well as alcohol can receive a DUI.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office provides police services to Goleta.
