GOLETA The UCSB Police Department will hold a DUI and driver’s license checkpoint on Saturday evening.
According to a news release, the checkpoint will be held from 9 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday at an undisclosed location.
Law enforcement will be on patrol in search of drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who can be arrested, fined and have their licenses suspended.
Unlicensed drivers can be cited and their vehicles can be impounded.
