SANTA MARIA Five people were displaced following a structure fire Thursday afternoon in Santa Maria, authorities said.
The fire was reported around noon Thursday in the 900 block of Nartatez Court. The fire was contained to two upstairs bedrooms, according to the Santa Maria Fire Department.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the family. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
