The Santa Barbara Foresters swept the California Collegiate League postseason awards, with outfielder Eric Kennedy being tabbed as Most Valuable Player, while Brad Demco was the Most Valuable Pitcher.
Kennedy led the team in hitting at .400, while Demco posted a 0.00 ERA in league action.
Other players on the CCL All-League team were: Christian Franklin (CF), Blake Hall (RF), Nick Bellafronto (3B), Zach Presno (C), Luke Taggart (SP), Ryan Bergert (SP) and Hunter Breault (RP).
In terms of league leaders, the Foresters were also well represented:

Taggart also won the Foresters’ Eric Pintard Pitcher of the Year award, while Kennedy was voted as team MVP. Three-year Forester Ryan Cash was named Best Teammate.
Santa Barbara was also named as Best Defensive Team at the National Baseball Congress World Series, while Bergert was touted as the Best Major League Prospect.
