Two men suffered major injuries and two others were hurt when a Mazda sedan crashed approximately 50 feet off the roadway Saturday afternoon on East Camino Cielo near Gibraltar Road, authorities said.
The crash was reported at 12:12 p.m. Multiple emergency agencies responded and found the vehicle resting on its side off the roadway. Fire personnel extricated the four occupants, according to officials.
The two men who suffered major injuries were airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
A third occupant suffered moderate injuries and another man suffered minor injuries. They were transported via ground ambulance, authorities said.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
