SANTA BARBARA One person was killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday night on State Route 154 at Painted Cave Road, authorities said.
The collision was reported at approximately 6:03 p.m. First arriving units reported two sedans were involved in a “T-bone style” collision, said Capt. Daniel Bertucelli, spokesman for the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
One person injured in the crash later died from their injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Three other victims were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, Capt. Bertucelli said.
Traffic restrictions were in place for a time after the collision. The cause of the collision is being investigated by the CHP.
