Pat was born in Midland, Michigan, on October 1,1921. Her family moved to Owosso, Michigan, where she graduated from high school. She married Grant Francisco, and they moved to Alhambra, California, where they raised their family. Pat achieved a degree from Los Angeles State College in recreation and subsequently secured employment with the Los Angeles County Parks Department as a park director in the Pasadena area for a number of years. She had fond memories of her years at the park and the many children and families she served,
Pat let her life speak for itself. Her husband, Grant, and her family were central to her being. Her home on Tornoe Road, “Stone Haven,” was indeed a home and haven for each and every member of her family over the years. Pat also had a special place in her heart for her pets and farm animals which she lovingly cared for at her home on Tornoe Road. Pat, Mom, Grandma, and friend, you will be in our hearts forever.
At her request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you make a donation in Pat Francisco’s name to Hospice of Santa Barbara. A special thank you is expressed to Barbara Pell of Hospice who was of great assistance to Pat in her last days.
