SANTA MARIA Bike Kitchen, a free bike clinic, will return to the City of Santa Maria Public Library on June 14 and June 28.
“Love bikes, but don’t know the first thing about fixing them? Patrons can bring in their bicycles and a representative from Bici Centro Santa Maria, will be on-hand to assist others in learning how to repair and maintain the bicycle,” said the city of Santa Maria in a Tuesday news release.
The two clinics will be held in the Library’s Lavagnino Plaza, from 3 to 5 p.m. Locals will can participate in a Bike Kitchen each month through August 2019.
Tools and consumables will be provided free of charge during the bicycle clinics, according to the news release.
The event is supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
