GOLETA For the 16th year in a row, City of Goleta’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report has earned Goleta a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting. The certificate was awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association for the fiscal year ending Jun. 30, 2019.
“The City of Goleta’s team of financial professionals work hard to ensure full, clear disclosure in financial reporting, and we are proud that we are consistently able to meet the rigorous stands set by GFOA,” said Goleta’s Finance Director Luke Rioux
Governments who want to be considered for this award must submit their financial reports within six months of the end of the fiscal year. They must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements.
