Kenneth was born in New York to Sophie Dorfman Greenberg and Abraham Greenberg. The family moved to Los Angeles where Kenneth graduated from Fairfax High School. While at Los Angeles City College he was a member of the Journalism organization Gamma Delta Upsilon. Kenneth graduated from USC and remained a proud and passionate Trojans fan throughout his life. After graduating from Southwestern Law School, Kenneth practiced law for over 50 years.
During WWII Kenneth served with the Army in New Guinea and other parts of the Pacific Theater. He was awarded the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 1 bronze star.
Kenneth had life long interests in Track and Field and California postal history. He was a member of the Association of Track & Field Statisticians and contributed many articles to “Track & Field News.” He belonged to the Western Cover Society and contributed articles to their publication, “Western Express.”
Kenneth died at his home in Santa Barbara. He is survived by Jane Lee, his wife of 47 years, and their children: Amy (Richard Doyle; children: Jackson and Violet); Michael (Jessica Foster); Kenneth (Barbara Walker; children: Joaquin, Miguel and Santiago).
Per his request there will be no services; however, a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to honor Kenneth may be made to the charity of your choice.
