The city of Guadalupe is holding a public workshop from noon to 2 p.m. today to solicit input on improving mobility safety.
The meeting will be held at the city auditorium, 918 Obispo St. Community members are invited to provide input on conditions for walking, bicycling, transit, driving and beautifying the downtown area and promote business development, according to a news release.
In March 2018, the city obtained a $206,450 sustainable communities grant through the California Department of Transportation to develop a mobility and revitalization plan. The draft plan was presented to the City Council on Nov. 26 and can be found at www.ci.guadalupe.ca.us.
