The daughter of the late Henry and Clara Peterson passed a way at her home at the age of 96 on January 8, 2014. Born in Holstein, Nebraska, she moved to Santa Barbara at the age of four. She returned to Nebraska to be raised on a farm after graduating from high school. She attended Business College in Hastings, NE, then returned to Santa Barbara with her parents to live out the rest of her life. She married Benjam in Harlow Hartman and lived happily with him for 56 years. They had one son, Benjamin Harlow Hartman, daughter-i n-law Billie Jean Hartman, two grandchildren, twins Chad and Becki (Rodriquez), three great-grandchildren, Kelsi, Katie, and Taylor Rodriquez. Step-grandson Clay Brown, and cousin Janelle Preston. Nephews Larry Peterson, Warren Stanley Peterson and Jim Peterson. There will be a private service at Goleta Cemetery.
