BUELLTON A head-on crash left two people dead early Sunday.
Capt. Daniel Bertucelli of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department said the two vehicles collided at about 3:40 a.m. on State Route 246 at Domingos Road west of Buellton.
One victim was found in a car on the highway. Another was found in a car that went over the side of the road.
No other victims were found, said Mr. Bertucelli.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
