LOMPOC A Lompoc man accused of killing his infant daughter appeared for arraignment on Tuesday.
Jose Ramirez was charged with murder May 29. His daughter, Evelyn, died May 19 at a residence in the 500 block of North Third Street in Lompoc. She was 26 days old.
Mr. Ramirez appeared before Judge Raimundo Montes de Oca in Superior Court in Lompoc.
The arraignment was continued to July 23, Deputy District Attorney Stephanie Schoenburg said.
Mr. Ramirez is being held on $4 million bail.
