SANTA BARBARA Authorities have identified the victim of a homicide that occurred last weekend within the city of Santa Barbara as 24-year-old William Pulle-Valle, of Santa Barbara.
At approximately 12:54 a.m. Jan. 18, police responded to the 1000 block of Olive Street on reports of a male subject bleeding. Mr. Pulle-Valle was found with numerous wounds consistent with an assault. He was transported by ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital where he later died, said Anthony Wagner, police spokesman.
Detectives are actively investigating the homicide. No arrests have been made and police have urged nearby residence to provide any video surveillance they have before or after the assault.
A GoFundMe page has been set up on behalf of Mr. Pulle-Valle. He is described as “a loving father, son, and amazing friend,” who was “taken from this earth too soon due to a hateful crime.”
Mr. Pulle-Valle is survived by his family and his four-year-old daughter, according to the GoFundMe page.
As of Tuesday afternoon, nearly $3,500 had been raised out of the $10,000 goal.
