God saw that you were tired and a cure
was not to be…
Five years ago we lost you, so short,
yet so long ago it seems.
A comforting sentiment shared by a friend:
“And if I go while you are still here, know that I
still live on, behind a thin veil that you cannot see through.
You will not see me so you must have faith.
I will wait there for the time when we can soar together again, both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to the fullest.
And when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart…
I will be there.”
We cherish the all too rare times you have visited us from beyond the veil-the sudden appearance of your “slide show” on Grandma and Grandpa’s computer, Aunt Stefanie and your “money box”, Mom hearing music from a boxed up Christmas ornament, the unexplained sounds or gusts of air at home, and when something disappears, to be found later right where we thought it should be. We know you are here, yet it will never fill the ache in our hearts. Hunter, we miss you every single day.
Love, Mom, Dad and Logan
