In loving memory of Eleanor E. Kelley, known to friends and family as “Betty”.
Betty, a native of Goleta, CA, passed away peace fully at her home of fifty-six years on February 16, 2013.
Born March 29, 1924 to parents William K. and Ellen R. Stronach she had three sisters, Florence, Margie, Nancy and one brother, Bill.
During World War II she met and later married James D. Kelley, a U.S. Marine stationed in Goleta, CA. They had four sons together.
As a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother she enjoyed the holidays and times the family were all together. She will be missed by all.
Surviving her is her sister, Nancy Stronach, son Eldon and his wife Diane, son Bill and his wife Dody and son Chuck and wife Leslie along with nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed a long life and in later years enjoyed her home, following baseball and auto-racing and, especially, weekly visits from her favorite dog named Ginger.
A service will be held at Goleta Cemetery on February 22, 2013 at 1PM. In lieu of flowers; a donation may be made to The Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care, Santa Barbara.
