
96, died at home peacefully as he had wished on Feb. 11. He and his late wife, Alice, came to Santa Barbara from Milwaukee, WI in 1945 and never left.
George worked as an engineer for Moseley Associates and SBRC until he retired and began a new career as an artist, holding several one-man art shows at local venues. He also volunteered for Direct Relief.
He is survived by his son George (Corky) A. Kladnik of Flagstaff, AZ, and daughters Sandra Kladnik of Lake County, CA and Mary (Marci) Kladnik of Los Alamos, CA. as well as five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
