You need to see liberal hypocrisy at work again? Enter Salud Carbajal, U.S. representative for some of the people. He was recently given kudos for presenting 12 “citizen” certificates for new Americans who did it the right way. With one hand he’s congratulating these people for following the law, and with his other he’s holding the gate at the border wide open for millions more to flow in. For this alone he should be expelled from Congress.
Not only is it racist, it’s treasonous. Sound stupid? It is. Not the hypocrisy part – that’s true with him and his ilk. But as our Native Americans used to say in the old cowboy movies, the left speaks with a forked tongue.
How can we put any faith in these elected officials to carry out their jobs working for the people when they select the rules and laws only they consider worthy? The likes of Mr. Carbajal are a sham. If I had gone through all the work and years of effort to become a “legal” American citizen knowing the man who was presenting me the certificate didn’t give a damn about its validity, it would just diminish everything I’d accomplished.
Fortunately, doing things the right way comes with a great sense of pride. You know you are official. You are an American. You’ve achieved what millions upon millions of people around the world want to do. and that title used to carry some credibility. But with the spiraling direction liberal Democrats are taking us, being a citizen is being twisted in such a way that if you don’t agree to allow unfettered immigrants to flood American soil, you’re a racist.
Can you imagine being called a racist because your home can only handle so many people, you barely have enough money take care of your own family and you’re already working pay check to pay check, but you’re being asked – no, told – you need to take on even more. But gosh darn it, if you don’t, you’re a racist.
The next year and a half will continue to be filled with garbage spewing from the mouths of the likes of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her friends. I think what bothers me more than the nonsense that the press deems has value is that there are people who actually buy into it. The old pied piper story brought to modern times has AOC and the “squad” dancing down the street waving flags of foreign countries, saying everyone who isn’t a racist follow us. They may be surprised when they turn around.
Just imagine if Congress and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had dedicated the last three years to fixing problems, such as getting their act together on the border. A few months ago, they and their media lackeys preached non-stop that the crisis on the border was being made up by President Trump. Now they’re saying something needs to be done about the crisis at the border – and blaming Mr. Trump for not fixing it. And once again, enter AOC calling the holding facilities concentration camps. She has zero understanding what the difference is. All this border stuff was started under President Obama, but the left just can’t give Mr. Trump a win of any kind, so the immigrants are weaponized and used as human toys purely for political gain.
What if this Trump-hating Congress had focused on upgrading our infrastructure as an attempt to fix something? I heard a report that terrorists try a hundred times a day to shut down our power grid. We’re so behind and backwards on this, that the day is rapidly closing in when there will be major power grid shutdowns. No one will know what to do. Just one day of being unable to deliver food or water will create hysteria. Stretch that out to a week, and America will plunge into utter chaos.
I don’t have to point out that it would be much worse than having to cancel a J Lo concert at Madison Square Garden. Imagine if it happens for an extended duration during a major heatwave or freeze. People will start dying, and not a single bomb will have dropped, or a gun fired. It would and will be a catastrophe.
But no, the main focus is trying to get one man out of office who was duly elected because they simply hate him – all their energy, time, money and misguided efforts to destroy one individual and anyone connected to him. The real truth is, they know he can win again, and they’re getting desperate to destroy him before the election. By the way, what happened to nearly three years of Russia, Russia, Russia?
Is it too much to ask that Congress actually work for us anymore? It has become more like an endless episode of “Survivor,” a viscous circle of nothing but non-stop whining and bickering. I say banish them all to the Edge of Extinction – North Korea – and see how they like it.
We as a country, a nation, will not survive if we don’t stop this childish bantering and political bloodletting. We need to do what’s right for the country, our country, our people. Five-year-olds in the sandbox can resolve their differences better than what should be considered adults “running” our country.
In the meantime, maybe Salud Carbajal can consider trying to represent all the citizens of his district.
