Alex McCeney and Kael Rillie both scored 17 points for the visiting Chargers as they opened their season with a win.
Parker Leadbetter added 15 points, as Dos Pueblos ran out to a 14-point lead at the half before Pioneer Valley made a run in the third to cut it to six points.

Santa Paula scored on a breakaway with four minutes to go to take the season opener for both teams.
Santa Barbara was led by sophomore goalkeeper Carolina Koceman, securing a breakaway save in the first half and three big saves in the second.
CARPINTERIA 5, CATE 2
Aly Springer opened the scoring for the Warriors and they never looked back, running out to a 3-0 lead at halftime, with Yaritza Santes Rosales and Erika Estrada adding goals before the break.
Cate would cut the lead to 3-2 before Springer and Santes Rosales notched their second goals of the game to put it away.

SANTA YNEZ 15, FOOTHILL TECH 9
Take Luke and Ally Alderete each had six goals to lead the Pirates, while Hannah Allen added two and Lilly Mazza one. Peyton Pratt had seven blocks and three steals.
WOMEN’S COLLEGE GOLF
SBCC’S SHERPA FINISHES FOURTH; TEAM SEVENTH
Pratima Sherpa posted a second consecutive 2-over 74 to secure fourth place in the CCCAA Women’s Golf State Championships at Morro Bay Golf Course.
Sherpa was four shots behind medalist, Haruka Koda of Canyons.
SBCC dropped in the standings as a team, finishing seventh of eight teams.
