An epic comeback kept the Santa Barbara High baseball team out of the loss column on Wednesday.
Playing in the Pride Classic in Phoenix, Az., the Dons trailed Clackamas, Oregon by nine runs, but stormed back to finish in a 12-12 tie.
The game was called due to a time limit.
Nick Oakley finished 3-for-5 with a grand slam and Nick Dallow went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three runs batted in for the Dons, who trailed 10-1 before tying the game in the sixth.
After Clackamas scored two in the top of the seventh (the final inning), Santa Barbara responded with two of its own in the bottom of the frame to finish in a tie.
Bryce Warrecker went 2-for-2 with three RBIs and Frankie Gamberdella was on base four times with two walks and two singles for the Dons.
Santa Barbara continues tournament play today with a game against Pine Creek, Co., at 9 a.m.

Chase Mayer drove in the only run for the Warriors with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning.
Jackson Cloud tossed a complete game for the Pirates (9-6-1), surrendering just the one run on three hits with six strikeouts and two walks. Miles Souza was the tough-luck loser for the Warriors (7-4).
Souza allowed two runs, one earned, on five hits with one strikeout and two walks in dropping to 4-2.
BOYS TENNISCATE 17, FOOTHILL TECH 1
Ethan Ha, Michael Armstrong, Charles Xie and Parker May all went undefeated in singles play for the Rams, who improved to 4-0 in league.
Cate also won eight of the nine doubles sets.

Trent Lingruen led the Vaqueros with 13 kills and seven digs, as SBCC won 25-13, 25-23, 30-32, 25-23, to improve to 8-5 overall and 4-3 in the Western State Conference.
Blake Lockhart had 10 kills and five digs, and Calvin Sanborn finished with seven kills and a season-high six aces.
The Vaqueros also finished with 10 blocks, six which were solo blocks.
