Registration for this year’s summer production of “Disney’s High School Musical, Jr.” is open for those interested in participating in the popular Lompoc Youth Theater camp, said the Lompoc Recreation Division.
“Boys and girls in 4th through 12th grade who would like to participate are asked to stop by the Anderson Recreation Center, 125 West Walnut Ave., to pick up an audition packet and pre-register,” said City of Lompoc spokesperson Samantha Scroggin.
Audition dates have been set for the option of Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Anderson Recreation Center, or Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Dick DeWees Community & Senior Center, 1120 West Ocean Ave., according to a Lompoc Recreation Division press release.
The three-week camp starts Monday, July 8 and runs through Friday, July 26, with four scheduled performances Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 26 – 28, and a matinee at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. Cost for the camp is $325 if paid by June 15, said Ms. Scroggin.
