LOMPOC A male victim died of his wounds after a shooting early Monday in Lompoc, police said.
At around midnight Lompoc Police Department officers responded to a shooting in the 600 block of North 4th Street, according to a news release.
Officers found a male victim with gunshot wounds. They provided emergency aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died of his injuries.
The victim’s identity was not released Monday pending notification of next of kin.
