LOMPOC A Lompoc man was arrested March 31 in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday night in the 600 block of North H Street, police said.
At approximately 9:54 p.m. Feb. 29, Daniel Diaz Salazar, 18, walked up to a vehicle “and used gang slogans prior to shooting the victim standing outside of his vehicle and then fled the area,” according to the Lompoc Police Department.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Mr. Salazar after identifying him as the shooter. He was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and participation in a street gang.
