SANTA MARIA A Santa Maria man was arrested Friday morning in connection with a shooting in the 1400 block of North Elm Avenue, police said.
Just before 9 a.m. Friday, the Santa Maria Police Department responded to multiple reports of shots fired. An investigation revealed a handgun was fired into a residence at the end of a cul de sac, said Lt. Russ Mengel, police spokesman.
Jose Gilbert Sendejas, 30, was arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
No injuries were reported, police said.
The investigation is continuing.
