LOMPOC A 20-year-old man was arrested Wednesday and is accused of murdering a 19-year-old woman, police said.
At approximately 11:18 a.m. March 25, police were called to a residence in the 300 block of North Y Street on a report of an unresponsive female. Officers responded and located the victim, whose name was withheld, deceased from a gunshot wound, according to the Lompoc Police Department.
Detectives arrived on scene to conduct a follow-up investigation and identified Brenden Michael Terry as the suspect in the homicide. The victim was Mr. Terry’s girlfriend who moved to Lompoc from out of the area last year, police said.
“At this time in the investigation there appears to be no other suspects involved in this case,” police said.
