SANTA MARIA A man was carjacked early Saturday in the 700 block of East Bunny Avenue, police said.
Officers were dispatched to the area at about 1:30 a.m., according to a Santa Maria Police Department news release.
The victim said a group of males approached him while he was seated in his vehicle. One pointed a handgun at him while they demanded his property, police said.
The suspects took the victim’s property and fled, some on foot and one in the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured, police said.
