
Lillian Martha Hulst May of Dallas, Texas entered the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on March 26, 2013. She died peacefully under the excellent care of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital and Faith Presbyterian Hospice. Lillian was born October 31, 1916, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, to Hendricus Adrianus and Lillian Gyson Hulst. On March 19, 1943, she married Rex Farrar May in San Antonio, Texas. As an artist inspired by nature, she was a founding member of the Brookhaven Garden Club and a judge for the National Garden Club of America. She enjoyed the art and craft of pressed flowers, water color, silkscreen, and enamel on copper.
Lillian May was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas and also attended New Hope Church in Ennis. A mother of four, she is survived by son Bruce May, MD, his wife Loriel, daughter Chris and husband Johnny Wilson, JD, daughter Jennifer and husband George Kingsley, DO, 12 grand children, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son Rexford May.
The Inurnment Service was held Friday, April 5, at 1 PM at Highland Park Presbyterian Church Columbarium with Memorial Service at 1:30 PM in Wynne Chapel at 3821 University Boulevard in Dallas. Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Lillian’s honor to the World Disaster Relief, one of Designated Giving Opportunities at Highland Park Presbyterian Church
