SANTA BARBARA Mental Wellness Center has named marketing executive Julie Solomon to its board of directors.
Mental Wellness Center provides direct services, education and support to those suffering from mental illness.
According to a Monday news release, Ms. Solomon has served as board chair for the Phoenix of Santa Barbara Rehabilitation Center, and she currently sits on the board for NAMI Southern Santa Barbara County. NAMI offers support, education and advocacy for individuals and families impacted by mental health conditions.
Ms. Solomon is also a realtor with Compass in Montecito.
