The Santa Barbara Music Club will perform a free concert at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Central Library’s Faulkner Gallery, 40 E. Anapamu St.
Robert Else, a pianist and director emeritus of the club, will play three works by another director emeritus, Hal Isbitz: “Caterina,” “Dolores” and “Tulsey Town Rag.”
Another pianist, Leslie Hogan, will perform during the premiere of one of her compositions. She is the Music Club’s current director.
And flutist Tracy Harris and pianist Svetlana Harris will play two works by Todd Harris. He’s Svetlana’s husband, Tracy’s brother and a UCSB graduate. One work will be the world premiere of Todd’s “Dancing Wings,” and the other is his duet arrangement of a Chopin Impromptu.
Tracy and Svetlana will also perform Ronda Larsen’s “Be Still My Soul” and Joachim Andersen’s Scherzino.
