A 25-year-old man was arrested Wednesday night in connection with the shooting death of 15-year-old Erik Villa Vargas, police said.
Raymond Ramon Vega was booked into the Lompoc Police Department Jail on suspicion of homicide, participation in a criminal street gang and discharge of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the Lompoc Police Department.
The investigation into the fatal shooting that occurred Monday in the alley near the 700 block of North F and G street is continuing. Two other suspects are sought in the shooting, which left two others injured, police said.
