The ninth annual “Girls Night Out,” sponsored by Mission Hope Cancer Center, will begin at 5 p.m., Oct. 29 at the center, 1325 E. Church St. in Santa Maria. Featured will be Q&A with Dr. Erin Chamberlain, Mission Hope’s newest medical oncologist; and Dr. Monica Rocco, clinical and surgical specialist of the Breast Care Program.
Dr. Chamberlain has an extensive research background focused on precision oncology, tailoring cancer treatment to each person’s unique disease characteristics while avoiding unnecessary side effects.
Dr. Rocco is up to date with newest surgical techniques that use specialized equipment to effectively treat cancer and achieve optimal cosmetic results.
The event will include a wine tasting and food and wine pairing presentation with Gray Hartley of Hartley Ostini Hitching Post Wines. Light appetizers will be provided by The Hitching Post.
