Doris Kearns Goodwin, Pulitzer Prize-winning presidential historian, will speak about “Leadership in Turbulent Times” at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at The Granada, 1214 State St.
Ms. Kearns Goodwin is the New York Times best-selling author of “Team of Rivals,” “The Bully Pulpit,” “No Ordinary Time” and “Leadership in Turbulent Times.”
She will combine storytelling with lessons from four of the nation’s presidents — Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson — providing a road map for leaders in every field and for all of us in our everyday lives.
Tickets are $75, $50, $30, and $15 for all students (with valid ID). A Granada facility fee will be added to each ticket price.
UCSB Arts & Lctures is presenting the program in association with the UCSB Department of History and the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts.
