“Leaf Learning” is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. June 26 at the Carpinteria Woman’s Club, 1059 Vallecito Road in Carpinteria. Topics will include the differences between hemp and marijuana, the endocannabinoid system, how CBD and THC differ, dosing options and varying methods of use.
The presentation will be followed by an opportunity for audience questions and answers from medical and industry professionals. Family practitioner Dr. Margaret Peterson and cannabis educator Liz Rogan will be on hand.Admission to the event is free, but an RSVP is required to attend.
